Gunmen operating at a community in Nasarawa, on Wednesday, April 23 shot a newly-wedded man and kidnapped his wife to unknown destination.
The gunmen were suspected to be Fulani bandits.
They invaded the home of the newly-wedded couple named Mr. and Mrs. Alu Anzaku, at Akaleku village in Obi Local Government Area along Lafia/Markurdi Highway about 11 p.m.
“They shot the man and abducted the wife. This couple wedded on April 12, and barely two weeks after, they were attacked”, a source said.
The incident has devastated family members.
As at the time of filing this report, nothing has been heard about the wife.
